Albany, NY Wedding DJ | Maddalone Entertainment
I had the honor of kicking off the 2018 Albany, NY Wedding DJ season with Kristen and Joe at their intimate wedding on On April 29th, 2018 with a beautiful brunch wedding.
The entrance music for the ceremony was anything but boring! Kristen and Joe picked some really great songs to cater to everyone. Guests were greeted by a prelude of the Vitamin String Quartet's renditions of Dr. Dre's- The Next Episode, The Cranberries, Beatles and many more. This covered their taste in music while still keeping the elegance of the ceremony. They had a beautiful ceremony which was personalized perfectly by their friend and officiant Jason. Together they chose to share in a unity ceremony with the use of 3 sands. One for Kristen, one for Joe and another for his son Joey. After exchanging their vows and the first kiss as husband and wife they strutted down the aisle to All I Want is You by Barry Louis Polisar.
Its Party Time!
The reception of course is my favorite part of the night. We really got to celebrate the love that brought everyone together on this very special day. Once Joe and Kristen were introduced we invited all their friends and family to join them on the dance floor to celebrate. Let me tell you they came to have a great time! The first song had the floor packed and filled with smiles! Afterwards they shared in their first dance to Ray Lamontange's "You Are The Best Thing" and invited their loved ones to be a part of the moment with them, including little Joey!
Once everyone enjoyed a delicious brunch, the time had come to open the dance floor it was hard to keep our bride off it. Not that I ever want to! I was able to incorporate some Dave Matthews Band for Kristen and also had room for Flight of the Conchords (if you don't know look it up, because you won't regret it) for Joe. But I would say the best song of the night was for their son Joey who had requested something I haven't gotten to play in over a decade of being a DJ. He wanted to hear the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theme song and I was excited to do that for him! Seeing his excitement when it came on was probably my favorite moment of the day.
Thank you Kristen, Joe & Joey for allowing me the honor and pleasure of getting to know you and for the opportunity of sharing in your wedding celebration. You have an amazing family and group of friends and I wish you all the best as your love continues to grow!
